Ed, Birthday, and Somebody Famous
Last week was the birthday of one of the admissions office's administrative assistants, Carol. She was on vacation, however, so we will be celebrating this afternoon with tortilla chips, salsa, and smoothies. Woo hoo! (Although a little cake icing would have been nice.)
Then this evening we're offering an information session about our graduate education programs: our Master of Arts in Elementary Education and our Master of Arts in Special Education. Anyone interested in those programs can come. It's at 6:00 p.m. in our Parlors, 2nd floor of the Administration Building. Dane Dornin from the Graduate and Adult Studies Office will be there as well as faculty to discuss the programs.
Julie Young, an English major who graduated in 2004, earned a mention on BlogScholar, an academic blogging portal.

I knew I'd be "bad" at Weight Watching over my vacation....that's why the salsa & chips..... Cake would have been VERY difficult to pass up...I was thinking ahead for once! ;o)
