As we approach the new semester...
The new semester is still three weeks away and yet it seems like student move-in day is just around the corner. The grad office had an Education Information Session last night and we have 5 students attend to find out about possibly starting the program this fall!
(Plus the cookies were fabulous..)
Everyone is finishing up their last duties required to get the new fall semester running. Grad and ADP are admitting and registering the last of their students, undergraduate admissions is preparing to begin their 2005 fall travel scheduele, and the new football team is literally running around campus preparing to earn themselves an astonishing first-season record!
It is a really exciting time right now, I always love the start of the new semester. And as soon as we get the student parking lot finished being paved, the shocks on my car will love it too...
This is day two without our former director, Mary Kay, and so far Kim and I are still breathing..

Seeing the workers lift off concrete slabs from the sidewalk was quite a sight. I'll be glad when I don't have to drive past that anymore. It must be quite a challenge to keep the driveways in good shape with all the construction going on...
