A Weekend Full of Events

The week is almost over, and the weekend is approaching. For those of you who missed last week's first home game, you have another chance to catch some Griffin football this weekend. The Griffins will be hosting Ohio Dominican at 2:00pm on Saturday. The game will take place at Offutt Field. Assistant Runningback Coach, Luke Struble is very excited about the game; “Tomorrow is another chance to get the season back on track, and watch the Griffins get their first ever victory." Once again, bring your Student ID to the game and get in for free. Good luck to the Griffins!

Tomorrow will also be the annual Labor of Love. Each year Seton Hill students are asked to volunteer to help others in need. Students, faculty, staff, and Trustees board vans and travel to various sites in the Greensburg Area. Service sites have included: Mom's House, PA Cleanways, Westmoreland County Food Bank, St. Emma's Monastery, and many other sites that welcome volunteers. During my freshman year I traveled to the Christian Laymen Corps Store and helped organize the donations. By taking one day of your time to help, you can make a real difference in the community and help those who are less fortunate. Contact Campus Ministry with any questions.

Whether you cheer on the Griffins or volunteer your time, you are positively impacting Seton Hill University. Have a great weekend!
