What is there to do this weekend?

I think you already know the answer. Every weekend Seton Hill tries to provide enough activities to keep students busy. Commuter and resident students are encouraged to attend any of these events.

Friday
Friday is finally here. I think this has been one of the longest weeks this semester, and through talking with other students I found some of the same feelings. If you had a stressful, busy week then go to the ISO Dance Party. The party will be in the Brownlee Bug from 9:30pm-2:00am.

Saturday
If you choose to just relax Friday night, then plan on attending some of Saturday's events. On Saturday night in Cecilian Hall at 8pm the Westmoreland Symphonic Winds will be performing "In Honor, In Memory, With Love." During the program "Song for the Sparrows," will be premiered in memory of Beth Ann Johnson and Elyse Saraceni, who were Seton Hill students killed in the terrorist bombing of Pan Am Flight 103. Tickets will be $8.00 for adults and $6.00 for students and seniors.

Also, vans will be taking students to a Swing Dance at Bobby D's Swing City in Pittsburgh. Vans will leave at 7:00pm. If you are interested in attending sign up by Noon Friday in the Activities Office.

Sunday
Finally, if you want to relax before Monday after a busy weekend, then go to A308 at 8:30pm. Seton Hill will be showing The Dukes of Hazzard movie. The movie, which is based on the old television show, stars Jessica Simpson, Willie Nelson, Johnny Knoxville, and Seann William Scott.

I hope everyone has a great weekend. And do not forget to schedule for classes.

I agree, this was a long week; I didn't think Friday would EVER come! But just think~ Thanksgiving weekend is right around the corner. The only problem with that is finals are right behind it! My advice~check out Reeves Library before Thanksgiving break!!!!!
