Art Therapy Information Session

Tonight there will be an Art Therapy Information Session at 5:00pm in Bayley 210.

"The Seton Hill University graduate art therapy programs are designed to develop compassionate scholar-practitioners. The art therapy classes are experiential and students make art in almost every class. They learn from their own art and the art of others about the power of art to transform feelings, thoughts and lives."
-Nina Denninger, MA, ATR-BC, LPC, Program Director

Seton Hill offers two graduate level training programs. One program leads to a Master's Degree in Art Therapy with a specialization in Counseling. The other leads to a Post-Master's Certificate. Both programs prepare you to combine your love of art and your desire to help others into one creative, inspiring and meaningful career.

At the Information Session you will get the opportunity to meet some of the faculty and have your questions answered. During the session, there will be a discussion on information about the program, admissions, financial aid, and any other relevant information. If you are interested in the program but unable to attend, you can contact Sherry in the Graduate Office at 724-838-4221.

Nina Denninger presented at Mars High School on Tuesday with Admissions Counselor Jessie DeHainaut to talk about SHU and the Art Therapy program here at SHU. They also talked about career options in Art Therapy in general. They met with juniors and seniors at the school. I thought this was relevant since we had an info session this week too!
