Career Works and Benefits of a Bachelor Degree
Our office of Career Development has changed it's name to Career Works! The office will continue to work with our student body and prepare them for the task of seeking employment once they graduate. Career Works will offer career counseling and testing, as well as mock interviewing and assistance with resume writing. Speaking of jobs for graduates, an article in the December issue of Buisness Officer reports some very interesting statistics about college graduates. They note that the benefits of a bachelor degree impact not only average salary, but also health care and quality of life. The article notes that graduates of a four-year institution have less risk factors that lead to heart disease and that 70%, vs. 54% of high school graduates without a bachelor degree, have health coverage. Four-year college graduates also boast a better income, with the annual income for a college graduate being 62% more annually than a high school graduate without a college degree. So, what are you waiting for? Apply to Seton Hill today!
