Just checking in over the break.....
I thought I would just check in over the break for any bloggers out there. We return to the office on Monday, January 2, 2006. However, the Admissions Office is open for two short days during the week. If you can believe it, it took me 2 hours just to open the mail that was waiting for us since last Thursday! Everyone in Admissions appears to have had a nice holiday. Nice gifts, and some even traveled to visit with family. We were thrilled that our efforts to raise money and buy gifts for children in need was a great success. We purchased gifts for 80 children in the local area! In addition, some money was raised for contributions to heating and utility funds for families in need. Great job everyone! This has become a tradition at SHU, and we do it each year around the holidays. SHU is very committed to community, and I am so proud of everyone's contributions this season! Well, back to work. Just an hour or so left, and then off again for the weekend. Ashley will be checking back in next week on the blog.

I was thrilled to see the article about Seton Hill's blogging on the front page of the PG on Christmas Day. I'm so happy the legacy lives on and gets SHU some PR!
