The Construction of Seton Hill was not an Accident…

When Seton Hill was founded by the Sisters of Charity the campus was as it is today - a tight knit community. This can be evident in the construction of the buildings and the closeness of the departments.
This university was no doubt constructed to accommodate the young women of then, Seton Hill College. When it was a snowy blustery day, who wants to take a ten minute walk from building to building? Once you arrived at main complex, the chances of you having to go back outside for any reason were slim to none. All the buildings connect in some way so you didn’t have to go out into that awful weather.
This wonderful feature is still enjoyed by all today! From personal experience, I lived in Lowe dorm, located in the same facility as the dining hall. I didn’t have to go outside to go to class or to eat! Sandals were a daily accessory to my wardrobe.
Bottom line is, enjoy the age old accommodations of our university and learn a bit of our history.

I wondered why I see everyone in PJ's. :)Explains a lot!
SHU is rich with history and tradition, and I encourge everyone to check out the website as Ashley suggests to learn all about it.
