I believe that Foster is onto something here! It's completely true! Any time you are reading a piece of literature, and you think that, oh I don't know, the color yellow, could be a symbol, more than likely, you can find some sort of evidence in the text that proves that it is a symbol. In other words, you can be right regardless of how ridiculous your theory is.
How awesome is that!!
