John Henry is Really Spongebob Squarepants

I find it amusing how, the same day that I am reading over and listening to different versions of the folk song, "John Henry," Spongebob Squarepants comes on TV and shows the squeaky sponge's rendition of the tale.  Just as John Henry battles against the machine on the railroad, Spongebob battles against an automatic patty-making machine.  Talk about a strong way to show the children of today a tale that was popular a long time ago.  Cartoons are really focusing on teaching children lessons now more than they did when I was a child before.
