[Home] [Act of Misdirection] [Frozen] [Cheeseshop][Caffeination]
With an almost obsessive love of caffeinated beverages, I thought I would try to solve the puzzle of finding the most honored of caffeinated substances: coffee. In this interactive search of "Caffeination", as in my others, I was also unsuccessful in achieving the ultimate goal; however, I did learn a lot about how to move around, the characters, and how one makes one's way in the game with the terminology common in interactive fiction gaming. This game turned out to be pretty funny, despite the "Slice of Life" category. What I thought would be an uplifting genre, turned out to be a rather, depressing, but realistic view of an office setting. The data specialist steals sticky notes. The coffee maker is illusive, and the living conditions, specifically the rug I examined about fifteen times, is worn. As the last of the interactive games, I tried in this exercise, I was not entirely unsuccessful. I did make it to the upper floors, I did find a coffee pot and a maker. In this I am very proud--and it only took me about fifteen minutes.
