The first chapter seemed to be primarily review.  Most of everything I read were things that I've already learned in the past years.  At first I was a little annoyed by this because I felt like I was simply wasting my time by reading this chapter.  However, after I was about half way through this chapter, I started to appreciate it.  It was, in fact, the longest chapter I noticed in the book, and there were a lot of things that it reviewed.  After reading the whole chapter, I felt much more refreshed from the summer break!
