My last entry got me thinking ....
Why exactly do we refer to the infamous sex talk as “the birds and the bees?”
Here is all I can deduce from it, see if you can add to the reasoning.
Birds flutter around and have breasts (well at least chickens do). They fly a high because they can and though they like insects, they avoid bees at all costs. They love sitting on birdbaths showering and primping themselves to try to look like the best bird.
Bees, more violent than birds, buzz around stinging any living thing they see. They are known to be greedy when it comes to sweet things and work very hard making honey (their sweet juice).
Wait, wasn’t this talk supposed to be about sex?
