Size matters ... and so does noise
June 24, 2004
Every hotel and motel in Johnstown is full tonight, and every other night this weekend. No, Pitt Johnstown is not having an event (that barely draws a crowd). Thunder in the Valley is in town.
I can say I had my first ever TITV experience today. I went with some coworkers for lunch in downtown J-town. Oddly enough it was my first time ever walking the streets of J-town and the streets were lined with motorcyles. Parking sucked. I had a large grilled hot sausage for lunch (please no jokes) which was loaded with about half an onion worth of fried onions. I overheard quite a few conversations about guys arguing about which 'bikes' made the most noise. "Well this one has a loud pipe" "Oh well my engine runs louder."
Geez, my first TITV experience was definately memorable and make me want to commute from Greensburg even longer than I have to. If I see another 'do rag, then I'm gonna hurl.
