Young Smoking = Old Living?

June 28, 2004

Remember when I joked about taking up smoking, well using a new little blog feature, called BlogSnob, I found a post by someone about smoking not shortening the length of your life.

It found that men who had stopped smoking by the time they were 30 lived as long as those who never smoked.

Not that I am going to take up smoking, or promote it in general, but it is interesting to know that just because they chose to start something when they were young doesn't hinder them from correcting it later in life.

Oh and check out the BlogSnob link I have in my 'Blog Links' area of the home page.

Well, thanks for the link... And if you check out the article that I linked to, it does say that long term smoking will damage your health. And no, I don't recommend taking it up. It's been a nightmare just cutting down, let alone quitting all together.
