This is the demise of my favorite morning quartet, John Dave Bubba and Shelley of B94. It was a horrible announcement for me. I rely on the BZZ Morning Show to keep me awake in the mornings. I find it funny that the demographic for the morning show was women ages 18-35, and now the demographic for the new morning show will be men 25-54. How sickening.
There was a reason that he was taken off of the air. If he was going to come back, then he shouldn't have taken over my morning show.

I seriously mourn your loss, Brian. Howard Stern is awful. I can't think of anyone else I would sooner kick off the planet if given the choice.

I put on WBZZ this morning and I was surprised to not hear Usher's "Yeah!" for the hundred-thousandth time, but rather, the drone of Howard Stern. I'm with Donna--let's vote him off Earth. This is one big "Survivor" episode, anyway, isn't it?

Yeah, so ...
If this was supposed to kick off on July 19, then why did they tell all the BZZ morning people that today was their last day?
The morning show this morning (prior to the 8:30 am press conference from NYC) was filled with the DJs' families calling in wishing them the best and saying that they will be successful elsewhere. Every other caller made everyone in the studio cry. You could tell that all the DJs worked closely together and were really a family.
Now if I want to listen to a Pittsburgh radio station in the morning I am stuck with the KissFM Freak Show.

I walked into work today feeling as though I'd been crying for an hour without shedding a tear. It was awful. It was as if I knew them and have been friends for years.
That's when you know that the DJs are good, you feel like you know them without ever seeing them.

Ick, I hate Howard Stern, he's such a pig. I, too, have become accustomed to John, Dave, Bubba, and Shelley. They're so funny, and clever. They will be missed greatly.

Sad. Brian, try 105.9 "The X" if you're not bothered by alternative music. That's more my style than pop anyway. Rock is what keeps me going.

My brother has every single Howard Stern tv show and radio show on cassette or vhs tape. How obsessed!?!?
That man discriminates women so harshly that it makes me want to grab him by his curly black hair and knock some sense into him.
I love 93.7 but 96.1 has a great radio show in the mornings if you are interested Brian.
Karissa-------It is true, "Yeah" is played about a billion times a day. Then after that... Usher's, "Confessions Part II and Let it Burn" is played.
Let's start a petition for Western Pennsylvania listeners are concerned with Howard Stern's raunchy talk show.

Brian, do you remember any comments that were made during the final episode of the BZZ Morning Show? What did Shelley say? I'm going to miss her the most... Did you happen to tape any of it? I'd love to hear it if you do.. Please email me w/ any info in regards to the final show. I missed it. djkst35@pitt.edu

Sorry, I did not tape it. But it was very emotional because they talked about how Bubba dropped out of college to be on the radio and how him and Shelley started like 15 years ago together.
They will most certainly be missed.
