Jelly Belly DayQuil

August 06, 2004

I'm feeling a little better. Yesterday, after work I decided I had to go back to Wal*mart to get more medicine because I left the medicine I bought in my last post at work. I called Donna while I was in Wal*mart to help me pick out the medicine that was right for me (she's helped me with this before). So I got some good medicine and am feeling a little better. My head isn't as stuffy anymore, but I still have a scratchy throat.

So now I'm back at work. I am taking the medicine I bought on the first trip to Wal*mart. And it hit me ...

Granted, it is nice to take "the Daytime, non-drowsy, stuffy, head, sore throat, coughing, aching, fever relief to help get back your energy cold medicine," but why is it that a DayQuil LiquiCap is bigger than a Jelly Bean? How are you supposed to take medicine that big? They could have at least made it chewable.

Oh and if anyone has any good home remedies I'd love to hear back on them ... I'll do almost anything to shake this cold. Posted by Brian McCollum at August 6, 2004 01:02 PM | TrackBack

I still vote for Grape Chewable Tylenol. It rocks.

A few shots of Southern Comfort, Jack Daniels, or whatever strong whiskey floats your boat, each night before bed is great for clearing the head and helping to sleep.
