Update on the Big CW

So Clear Waterz is having their First Annual Bikini Contest this Wednesday. No one really knows what to expect, but things are looking really good for the place. Several people have applied. Perhaps I'll go and see what the turnout it like.
As far as working, I've been selling beer for a couple weeks now and they've hired some new bathroom attendants, which, might I add, aren't there to clean up after the drunks after all...
While I was working the bottle bar, my new position at CW, which is located at the front of the dance floor, I happen to talk to quite a few patrons as they get done using the restrooms. They asked me how long the bathroom people have been in there. I couldn't really recall at the time how long people have had those positions, but the patrons were commenting on how nice they were and how it makes them feel like they are in a really classy bar when there are people in the bathrooms with cologne and perfume.
So, anyway, as it turns out, there seems to be an odd bond between the bathroom people and the barbacks (my former position), probably because they are there to support the work of the other employees who are selling to all of the customers. As I got a chance to sit down and talk to one of the bathroom attendants, I had to apolgize that I didn't realize exactly what his responsibilities were. They aren't in there, as I previously thought, to keep the bathrooms from getting trashed (though it is often a positive side-effect), they are there to help make sure the bathroom supplies are plentiful and for security reasons with drugs and sex. I can't imagine sitting in the bathroom having to sit in the bathroom for hours and just watch people come in and out, making sure they don't bring a 'buddy' in there with them.
I have an awful lot of respect for them and I think it makes me feel good to know that all of my beer customers are retreating off to the bathroom and doing drugs. I just makes for a safe environment overall if you ask me.
Since I was wrong about the bathroom attendants before, I want to apologize to them and to anyone else for any mi understanding.

Just because there's a person in the bathroom with perfume does NOT, I repeat, NOT make it a classy bar. Having been to CW, it's the same as any other bar that 20-somethings hang out in: skanky women with almost no clothes on dancing (if you can call it that) to overly loud music coming from the DJ, and stumbling around acting like morons trying to get guys to buy them drinks.
And a bikini contest? My my... that's especially classy. I doubt CW is going for a classy image anyway. But if they are, boy are they failing.
