Hot dog ... err ... socks

October 18, 2004

How does it make you feel to know that you can now buy your socks in a package that you can also buy hot dogs in?

What is the purpose of a resealable sock bag? So people can try them on in the store? The old non-resealable sock bags were useful because you always knew all the socks were going to be in the bag, unless the bag was ripped open. Now, you buy the socks and have to bleach the heck out of them because you don't know what kind of feet have been in them. This in my opinion is even worse that bowling shoes. At least with bowling shoes, they don't touch your skin.

Good point, Brian. I never understood the idea behind the "resealable" sock bag either. Maybe it's one of those consumer-esque things that makes us think that Sock Brand A is better than Sock Brand B merely because A uses a "resealable" bag...? Reminds me of all the "new-and-improved" labels (how is something new -and- improved? If it's new, they couldn't have improved it. If it's improved then it's obviously not new.)[/end ramble].

Thanks for the ode. Have you been watching the Yankees and the Red Sox equally suck? I'm rooting for the Red Sox at the moment...I'd like them to meet the Astros in the World Series, even though the Cardinals are the best team....hmmm.

I've also been watching football. God help me. Sports are rotting my brain.

No I haven't been watching the Yankees.

I have faith that they'll win.

Astros got it all wrapped up, kids. Sorry, but Yankees are overdone, Red Sox *ehh* not my favorite. Cardinals? Yuk. Astros are the best ;)

in my humble opinion :)
