the TOOTHless SMILE and CAIley's HAIRless HEAD
give HER that INnoCENT and BAby LOOK.
her CHUbby CHEEKS and NOSE so PINK show IT,
that LITtle GIRL of MINE is GROWing UP.

her STUBby TOES and LITtle FINgers, SMALL
HER round CIRcle EYES and LITlte TonGUE
her BRUSIed KNEES and SCRAPS and BO-bo-BO'S
make HER evEN so MUCH more BEAUtiFUL.

the LITle LAUGHter THAT i HEAR from HER
and GREAT big FACes THAT i SEE her MAKE
her GIgles SHOW her HAPPiNESS and LOVE,
that EVeryONE feels WHEN they SEE her FACE.

My tiny daughter's eyes are drooping shut.
She strokes my thinning hair and sweetly sighs.
"Dear Daddy, you'll be ugly when you're bald."
