This article was very interesting. It focuses on the fact that American products are everywhere. Even though countries may say they don't like America, they continue to drink Coke, eat and McDonalds, shop at Gap and watch the latest Julia Roberts movie. America's pop culture influences the entire world, whether they want to admit it or not.
My agenda item/ thesis for this article is: If countries are going to continue to complain about Americanism within their borders, they need to be the ones to do something about it and stop selling and promoting our products.

If other countries don't like the US then why are they wearing our class and buying our food. They are just like Americans and they are supporting America by buying our things. So I think the other countries are hypocrites for saying they don't like America.

They obviously seem to be enjoying the American part of their country, else it wouldn't be there right about now. ACTIONS speak louder than WORDS.

It really doesn't matter what I think, but if these countries have a problem with it then why don't they do something about it.
