Robert Frost~ Never Again Would Birds' Song Be the Same

Frost's poem really speaks to me. I enjoy the reverence he has for God's creation. He shows Eve respect that even nature presents her. This is evident in the line "Never again would birds song be the same. And to do that to birds is why she came." The very idea that God created Eve with the gift of song that would challenge event he most harmonious bird is a beautiful conecept to me.

Frost poem can be read by clicking the link. Tell me what you think.

ROBERT FROST
Never Again Would Birds' Song Be the Same

He would declare and could himself believe that the birds there in all the garden round From having heard the daylong voice of Eve had added to their own oversound, Her tone of meaning without words. Admittedly an eloquence so soft could only have had an influence on birds when call or laughter carried it aloft. Be that as it may be, she was in there song . Moreover her voice upon their voices crossed had noe persisted in the woulds so long that probably it never would be lost. Never again would birds' song be the same. And to do that is why she came.

WAS why she came, not IS why she came

Robert Frost's poem speaks to me in a different way........After I have reviewed other Frost's poems pertaining to birds and their songs, Frost has seemingly brought a totally different concept to my mind then the one previously stated.....I feel it is as man has seemingly interferred with the beautiness of nature, and has, in fact, made the sound of birds not as joyous. See Frost's "A minor Bird" and also "Oven Bird".

I find the fact that he chose Eve in this poem makes this poem quite a debate, considering Eve's actions in the stories of the bible, somewhat to blame for the sin on this world. Representing man in taking from the world something of which he shouldn't.

Nonetheless, this is a beautiful poem and Im glad I was able to come across some educated opinions about it....

Perhaps what is being said is that since the creation of man, which would be the first human to hear the songs of birds, which he himself would affect as well, unknowingly. However, with the creation of woman, which in turn would alter everything in existence, which shows what impact one person has on everything in their environment. Which then enables Adam, in this case, to notice the impact one person has, since he would be the only one person in existence, to be able to know there was a difference.
With the creation of Eve, it allows the creation of the first love between man and woman, but also it shows her ability to add beauty to her own environment, through the eyes Adam.
