"Trung Dung" By Dan Rather

This is about a man's success; how he accomplished the things that he wanted to do and setting his mind to achieving this. He succeeded from becoming poor to becoming successful and starting his own companies. This shows that if people believe in themselves and put their minds to whatever they want to do and set goals for themselves; they would become successful in life.

I completely agree with you I too think that if you really put your mind to something you can achieve it. I loved this selection I thought that it was so extraordinary that this young boy escaped his country and had such a successful life in the United States

I agree with you since my agenda item is kinda similiar that you have to work for everything and not be given everything. Putting your mind into your work and believing in yourself always is a plus =)

I agree with you also, I think that you will work harder if there is more motivation supporting you. Hard work pays off in the end, and that is what happened to Trung Dung.

I agree with you entirely i really do feel that once you believe in yourself anything is possible no one has to be there to make sure it is done. once you put your mind to it, it will be achieved.

I totally agree with you. He set his mind on his goals and he went for them no matter what the cost. In the end everything he ever dreamed of came true.

I disagree with you agenda item, I don't think that if all people work hard they will succeed. Some people go all there lives working and have nothing to show for it. Hard work doesn't always pay off.
