State of the Union Address Tues/9PM
Tuesday evening, President Bush will be delivering his State of the Union Address. The address will air at 9PM, most likely on every major network and cable news station. So even if you don't pay for cable here on campus, you should be able to pick it up with your TV's antennae (you can also stream it online from Whitehouse.gov)
In his speech, he is expected to touch on the following issues:
- The developing nuclear issues with Iran
- The new Hamas-led Palestinian government
- Rising energy costs for Americans
- Healthcare reform
The President uses this address to lay out his agenda for the upcoming year. He will be talking about the policies he is going to push domestically, as well as taking stances on foreign relations and issues.
