More Crochet Madness! Ole!
What do you do when your friend tells you she's getting married, um, tomorrow? You make this:

I copied a design in Stitch N Bitch Nation to make this ear warmer:

A Christmas pressie for my sister's cute evil kitten Icarus:

I made this with the pretty yarn Lauren gave me for my birthday:

This is the first hat I crocheted:

But surely not the last...
(This was also *inspired* by SnB Nation.)

Sweet! I love the SnB books. Even if I can't seem to follow a pattern to save my life they sure are inspiring... I tend to work better "freestyle" *ahem* untamed.
Your crocheting rocks, Moira. I totally need to learn how to do this! (The hat is my favorite of your creations :-)

I'm usually not a following directions type o' gal, but for some reason the crochet directions I've been following have been nice in that I'll follow the directions to get started and then, bam!, I'm off running doing my own thang. The purple flower on my scarf started from a pattern but it looked weird so I just improvised my own version. Yesterday I made a necklace out of himalaya recycled silk yarn... soooo pretty! Anyway, happy new year!
And, oh yeah, the first craft session in spring will be crochet. So don't worry... ;c)
