It Ain't Necessarily So CH 2-3

Chapter Two basically just talked about the opposite of what Chapter One said. It talked about how sometimes what is not very newsworthy sometimes makes headlines. They also ended on how the coverage should have been more balanced and proportinate.
Chapter Three talked about bait and switch. They went in depth about how articles use surveys to relay information and how police reports arent as liable as surverys. Not everyone reports to the police. They went into depth about the definitions of topics that have more than one and how readers interpret the news. The topics were assault, rape and abductions. I did not really know that the newspapers tell us 'how many' and not telling us 'what different kinds'.
This reading was very informative and i actually enjoyed it.
