Spurlock Lecture

The Morgan Spurlock lecture that was held in Cecilian Hall was a great learning experience as well as informational. This was my first experience of going to a lecture and trying to write down information and quotes for the article that was due the next day. I thought it was pretty easy writing down quotes and little notes while listening to Spurlock talk about his super size 'experiment'. I really enjoyed his presentation. It never had a dull moment and had kept everyone on their toes with his humor. From the noise of laughter and gasps, I could tell the audience enjoyed his speech. I could hear people all around me talking about how they dont go to McDonalds anymore and saying "There is really almost a thousand cows in one burger, GROSS!" I thought this was a great learning experience not only for me, but for the other freshman in EL227 as well as the class as a whole. I hoped the rest of you enjoyed it as much as I did.
