Class Discussion

Today Jenna and Ashlee presented chapters three and four of We the media. After they were done presenting the topic of whether our class believed online journalism or print journalism shot off like a rocket.
I like print journalism a lot more than what i read online. I believe it more and trust it more. Online journalism is made by anyone who has a blog or knows how to work a computer and access forums and any other type of online blogging.
I think that the articles that i read in a paper have more credibility than online.
To be honest, i just kind of like getting the ink on my hands and being able to hold it in my hands while reading as well.

I'm glad that somebody actually blogged about this HUGE debate we had in class on Wednesday. In my opinion, the issue isn't print journalism vs. online journalism, it's who are the most credible sources. Online journalism isn't all bad, but as you say above, we must watch for the average person, who has access to the internet via blogs and forums.
