What's up everyone! My name is Denishia Salter and this is my new web log Nish's Word. Though this web log is called Nish's Word it's not just about my word but everyone's word. I'm basically the wick and everyone else is the spark that lights that wick. Anyway there is no real specific topic here in this blog. Whatever you want to say about whatever you want to say it about is fine with me. As log as it's your real opinion. No fake people are aloud in this blog. We want real opinions and real opinions only. Be yourself. Thanks and hope I hear from you soon.
Posted by Denishia Salter at September 19, 2003 11:15 AMI am so sick of the boys basketball team already. Because of them the girl's team cannot get any time in the gym. Thier in the gym in the morning, in the afternoon, and now there in the gym from 9pm-12:30am. For God sake's can we get 15 minutes? That's all I ask for. Then to to make matters worse. The girls can't even play in thier own gym during basketball season. Why? Because the damn boys team can't play there. Due to the gym not being regulated for them to play in. So why do we have to move. It's bad enough we have no fans as it is. Now we have to go all the way to Jeanette. No one wants to go to Jeanette. And to make it even worse these are all conference games being played at Jeanette. And for those of you who don't know. Conference games are important. And the only fans there will be the teams, us, them, and Mindy's Dad. It's ridiculous. Even if you don't care you should atleast have an opinion. This is a very strong topic and I have a feeling many people will be scared to say anything. That's alright. I understand.
Posted by: Denishia Salter at September 19, 2003 11:43 AMHey Denishia, I wish I'd seen this post before. I'm not involved with sports in any way, so I didn't even know about this stuff. I just hate what all this has done to the campus in general. From what you said here, though, it's no wonder those guys have no idea what's going on in class. This transition especially sucks when you've invested so much money at a school you enrolled at because it was a women's college.
