It's always best to think before you do much of anything,it leaves no room for error.Online community word travels fast and reaches millions of people therefor leaving room for feedback some good,some bad,critisism is not always a good thing but on the other hand it makes one think.

I've definitely had a good deal of experience with this. I can't count how many times I've posted comments, entries, or sent IMs while in 'the heat of the moment' and regretted it almost immediately. It's like verbal communication in a sense-- once it's said it's impossible to take back.

As Jeremy said, once it's out there, almost anyone can access, and the person on the receiving end is able to pass it on to anyone they wish.
