I to believe that a title has to work and be informative if not the reader will not use the site thinking it has nothing to do with what that particular person is looking for.
Good advice for when we begin to individualize our own websites.

Jeremy, that's a good point about having informative titles, however, the graphics, phrases, and bolded words that stick out more than the title, may have a greater impact on whether the reader will conitinue browsing for their subject or leave your page. The in-context titles really don't have to be informative unless you have those other "helping" details. :)
