Writing games differs from writing composition, the text has to be developed in order for the user to understand what they are playing or the question, who they are playing (the character).
I awai the challenge of writing a text based game to see where my imagination takes me. I can use my creative side and design a game that is pages of text or I can write one page of text that eliminates the adventure when the user "kicks over the garbage can".

From the step by step gaming experience, I've realized you as the designer have to know and think like the player. It's based on basic information that cannot be too complicated that is not common sense. If it is based on high-level knowledge, you will lose your audience.
