Reflection Paper - Silence and Opinion

Wit -- Jerz: EL150 (Intro to Literary Study)

Reflection paper for the play, "WIT"

The play entitled, WIT was very moving throughout and gave much insight with the medical field. An interesting connection made by Jenna was how the silence from Susie made Vivian change her mind. I commented in my blog about this and how HIPAA is in effect today and changed the way information can be talked about. Throughout the play there was a lot of information given about how cancer patients suffer and feel as they go through the process of treatment and recovery. This connection was interesting to me because it states what silence can do. For example, when a teacher is silent that usually means to not talk in class. Silence is moving, yet can be so effective.
