After deciding to major in English, I always thought I was lucky because I was one of those few students who for some strange reason felt compelled to teach High School English. This desire may have possibly resulted from the fact that I have two teachers for parents, but, at least I felt comforted by the thought that, at last, I knew what I wanted to do with my life. If I had chosen a major such as Marketing, like my sister, I probably wouldn't recieve sarcastic wishes of good luck from my relatives at every family gathering after I remind them of my major. It is refreshing to have a little support from Lemire in a society that often times considers English a dying major. Lemire, I'm an English Major: Now What?
