This is a serious comic strip about the War on Terrorism. It explains all about wanting Bin Laden caught and how the War on Terrorism will never really end because people will start new groups. It talks about different people and different events with a mother explaining the information to her child. I believe that it is a one sided comic but the events need to be dicussed.

It was so interesting, but sad to hear everything that the comic had to say. I agree with the comic it doesn't matter if the US stops Bin Laden and his followers, because other groups will form. I don't understand to begin with why other counrties hate the US. In history class I remember learning that the US is some way a long time ago helped out Bin Laden in some way. It doesn't make sense that he would hate us he can say whatever he wants about the US but the US helped him at one time.

I bet most of our class hardly knew anything in that comic strip. That's because everything we read is supposed to show us things that will make us side with our government. If facts like that appeared on the cover of Time Magazine, there would be many people upset. Things seem to always be written in a way that will make a reader happy. The one time we read something that we can relate to because we have been hearing the opposing facts forever, we become offended because we cannot believe someone would bring up these anti-American claims. I commend this author for what he did. He wrote a one-sided paper because he knows that most of his audience will know the opposing view. He allows us to see the things we haven't been told.
Posted by: Caroline Jones at April 11, 2005 02:28 PMThis Comic was very one sided and the evens did need to be discussed because the government is not telling us these things so they dont look bad... Im lucky that my dad is smart enought to know all of these things and I hear the bad not just that we r right and they are wrong...
