9/11 caused Americans to take a look at reality and see how people are viewed by the world. No one thought that people hated us so much that they would die to do damage to America. This essay suggests that, because America is so good, others despise us. After reading all of the stories I really don't understand why everyone hates us. Yes there are reasons, like we do things to other counries but they do things to us. I dont know I am not a big history guy I guess.
