Malcolm X: Learning to Read

In the essay, Malcolm X says that he didn't even go pass the eighth grade in school. He taught himself how to read while he was in Charlestown Prison. He read the dictonary then moved on to books in the library. He only slept 3 or 4 hours a night due to staying up all night reading.

Holocaust survivor

I went to the holocaust survivors lecture and I thought it was really sad and messed up what happened. I can’t believe that someone could survive something that bad. He spent 6 years of his life in 10 different camps. He weighed 75 pounds when he was saved at the age of 18. To have that happened to someone is so wrong and I cant believe anyone could live through the beatings they took. I believe he is a very strong man for what he went through and I am very glad I went to here him speak.

Idiot Nation

The biggest Idiot in the nation is Michael Moore! This guy is a loser. He talks about how our President is stupid and how everyone is stupid. Who cares? I am 100% behind our president, he is our leader. I know its sad about the schools with no principals and having classes in the janitors closets. But thats the world we live in and something are wrong that you cant just change. This is all coming from a guy that dropped out of college because he could not find a parking spot. America is the greatest land in the world and I am proud to be from this "Idiot Nation"!!
