So this article was about equality amoung whites and blacks. This is something that I personally have heard enough about. Everyone knows that Blacks and Whites are not looked upon as equals. This is unfortunate but it is true. So my agenda item is, do you agree with me that blacks and whites are not viewed as equal?

In my opinion I think that a lot of white people view blacks as being competition. One more person that they have to fight with for a job. And because of the past with slavery many still see them as not equal because they are different. However black people don't look at white people equally either. Many times black people seem to put off the impression that they have had to work harder and deserve certain things more. This may be true that they had to work harder and overcome many things but who is to say that some whites haven't? I think everyone always sees the inequalities as being from a white person to a black person but I think it goes both ways.

No matter how much people scream that they want to be equal, society will not see them as equal no matter how much people say that everyone is equal. They are not.
