Emailing Joseph Conrad.

I was sorting through my junk mail for good stuff, when I noticed that I got an email from Joseph Conrad. His subject line read "Travel Deals." Going where, I wondered? Into the Heart of Darkness, perhaps?

You've got to love an intelligent spammer.

In other news, the Cathedral will no longer be lighting its dome during the week, so the view of Greensburg from the Hill will be a little uglier at night. Apparently money is tight, and the collection is poor. From the looks of the parking lot, everybody spent their money on Lincoln Navigators. Or so says the girl who walks.

Kurtz on spam: "E-horror! E-horror!"

At least you get travel deals... that could at least furnish a daydream or two. I only get promises of lower mortgage rates and larger body parts that I don't even have.

oh my. Having read "The Heart of Darkness" for my 12th grade AP English class, I would have to say that this spammer either has the unfortunate circumstance of living with the same name as the author that wrote the only book that has made me wish I couldn't read, or the spammer sure knows how to pick an obscure "e-name" (like pen-name, I suppose).

That would crack me up if I got that kind of mail. I would think myself crazy (which isn't at all that impossible, either).
