"I know you are, but what am I?"

Identity crisis? Me? Nah. We all have these college years to figure out who we are, what we want to become, and everything in-between. Thank heavens it isn't high school. Although, I really never had a problem with that kind of thing in high school. I have always been a-ok just being myself, whther anyone else really liked me or not. I talk to who I want, say what I want, wear what I want, take the classes that I want, get the grades that I want... need I go on?

Nonetheless, in high school, it's so easy for students to get sucked into the daily rush of having to fit-in: wear the clothes, walk the walk, talk the talk, be dating the right person while they're still "in," go to the right parties on the weekends, etc. What a waste of time!

What has stimulated this analysis of the identity search? The Onion, of course.

Just be glad that you're not this kid, because he's going to run out of identities before he figures out that he just needs to be himself.

Sometimes I look at my life and I can't image the girl I was in high school.

College has been such a life altering experience. Especially in the sleep department:-(
