... The Blogs Bursting in Air: give beginners a chance

What an interesting sign of the new semester.
I can sum it up no better than "...the blogs bursting in air," or "it's beginning to look a lot like [the beginning of the semester at SHU]... Eeeev'rywhere you click" (um, smash all those bracketed words and syllables together and you'll make it fit just like the real Christmas song.)

This is becoming synonymous with crocuses sprouting in spring, dazzling flurries to jumpstart winter, and the first day coats return with wrinkled faces to protect in autumn.

There are blogs everywhere!

My American Literature class (EL 267) met last night for the first time this semester, and at the close of the class we dove into blogging for the beginners.

BEGINNERS: don't fret if it seems frustrating or totally out-of-control. I may very well be; I won't lie. But I also know that if you give it a shot, take your time to learn this, and put a good effort into what you write that it'll turn out in your favor.

"If you blog it, they will come."

If I can do something to help those of you in my class with blogging, I'll do my best. I really enjoy it, and I'd be overjoyed to share my insight, but I truly hope you can give this a chance.

And all the rest of you that are veterans of the SHU blogosphere, let's welcome all the great new bloggers we've got. Be courteous and helpful--not rude and hurtful.

I'm holding high hopes for this semester : )

Thank You for helpin out us newbies in trying to be patient. I am trying but I just might have to take you up on the offer of a little help. I am not sure which direction I have to take my blogs to so after the first couple times if my blogs still are not quite what they should be please don't let me look like a fool the entire semester. :) I would rather be flat out told that I am doing it wrong, that way I can try to fix it. Thanks Again!!!!!!!!!!

I would be happy to help you if we schedule a bit of time, so let me know. I try not to let anyone look like a fool if I can help it ;-) So far so good, Holly. Keep your chin up!
