"You should blog that."
Sitting at my workstudy job, I'm next to two beautiful windows in the Administration building that look out on the circle of trees before the front of the school.
Typing, sunlight cast across my face, joking with my supervisor about various factions of life... Suddenly there's a noise to my left.
A bird. I was disturbed; I've worked here for two years and there's never been a bird anywhere near my two little windows.
"Woah, there's a bird."
"What?"
"A bird. Right freaking there. A bird."
"Oh. 'Right freaking there'?" she snickered. "You should blog that."
So I am.
Thanks, Marlene!
(I hope to be getting Marlene set up on a blog here shortly... We've discussed it and she should be joining the blogosphere shortly, if all goes according to plan! Hooray!)

Karissa,
What a fantastic bird story! I do have my own bird story to tell...but I will save it for my blog. Speaking of blogs, I surfaced this morning for a breath of fresh air and my blog came to mind. So I thought I would check it out and sure enough - just as I suspected...an almost empty blog!! As soon as I get out of the Middle East I will blog the top 10 and the latest bird story. I'm sure I'll need your help.
Happy Finals Week!
Marlene (a.k.a. mo)
