Linking my way to grad school and beyond
If I weren't already confused about researching graduate school opportunities, the fact that many links on many pages maintained by universities do not work baffles me.
How am I supposed to learn more about the place and the program without working links? I simply don't understand what's so difficult about updating the URLs or removing them if the page was removed.
Sorry if this seems rant-like, but I'm just trying to do a little preliminary research in order to figure out my next step after *gulp* I graduate next year. Sure, sure, that's a long way away... but I was thinking about college freshman year of high school, so I feel a bit behind on the search for a good graduate school program. And this time it's all about the program and what they have to offer me. Nothing will be barred.
English, writing, rhetoric and composition, linguistics... I'm looking at those sorts of things. Not sure what I'll end up pursuing yet, but I'm thinking it over, anyway. I've been thinking a lot of things over lately.
And I know, without a doubt, that I will be getting a master's degree and that I will not pause at seeking a PhD.
No terminal MA for me...
Dr. [insert future married name here]. Has a nice ring to it.
