Again with the errors...
Microsoft has told me before that there are "too many errors" in a merged document... Today at work while I was trying to put together a huge mail merge (over 550 letters and labels) I received the same message (for the very first time on my Mac).
The funniest part about receiving this message today was that, as the message instructed, I immediately ran the grammar/spelling checker which promptly told me that "Grammar and spell check are complete!"
Ha. Hahaha. Thank you for that vital message?
Oh well. I didn't know what to think, except that I ought to share it. This week has been the week Karissa is forced to outsmart computers and printers. I actually had to call Microsoft support for a different problem with the mail merge--and even Chuck the tech guy was baffled and had to call me back. (That made me feel like less of an idiot because I honestly couldn't tell why when I was trying to merge 305 records I would get 174. And if I tried to merge 150 I got 83. ?!?! That's not even half or a quarter--it's just weird.) I feel like my brain has been slightly cooked by the glow of my laptop's screen. Tomorrow, since I only have to mail all those letters and don't actually have to go in to work, I will be outside or reading a book or both. I think I owe myself that much.
