The "Crackhead" Run
I know I've posted a lot about my puppy lately, but she does some really crazy stuff. Like the "Crackhead" Run... My upstairs neighbor named it that. I'm not exactly sure why, but the name has stuck.
Trixie is an energetic dog to say the least. I have a variety of toys for her so she doesn't get bored (and subsequently get into trouble). She keeps herself occupied rather well, but I also play with her for the majority of the time I'm not at work or sleeping.
She gets bursts of energy, though, and she shoots off like a rocket, whizzing around either in my living room (seen below) or outside on her leash (usually circling me since she realizes she's not free to roam). There's not another way to describe it. It's the Crackhead Run.
Enjoy.

The sound made me jump when the video started. I was like, 'that's a homicidal dog' for a second, 'do I need to come save Karissa?' Haha.
Lots of energy, for sure.

Haha! Thanks, Amanda. She's not homicidal, just a little hyper sometimes. Just wait till you meet her. She's also the kissiest dog I've ever known--the tongue never ceases movement. Thank goodness dogs' mouths are supposedly cleaner than ours...

Wow.

Haha, thanks, Moira. You summed it up quite well. I feel that same way each time she starts running around... :)

Karissa, you should try entering her in a racing contest, or some sort of dog olympics, Trixie can walk on her hind legs and she's a sprinter! :)
