A fresh coat of... Post-Its?

On my way to work this morning, I spied a colorful automobile parked along the street. As I drove along Second Street, the main drag through Harrisburg, I got closer to the SUV, seeing that the its colors were sort of dicey, broken stripes. That's because the Jeep was covered with Post-It notes...

There was a cop and a news camera nearby. I tried not to wreck my car at the stoplight while I turned in my seat to get a good look at it. The bright pink, green, blue, and yellow hues contrasted with the dull city-smart colors vehicles usually come in. Nothing like an SUV covered in Post-It notes to brighten up your day... everyone needs a good laugh in the morning.

At that moment in my morning commute, I wished that I had my digital camera with me. Sure I have my phone camera, but am I really going to pay 75 cents to email it to myself when the quality will be sub-par? Most likely not. If anything about it becomes available via the local news outlets, I'll link to it.

Haha, thanks, Rosemary! That's terrific. The styling is very similar to what I noticed on the Jeep this morning as I drove by. Same bright colors!

I haven't seen anything online reporting about it, but I'm still on the look out.

This reminds me of a tricky bit of sales tactlessness I saw the other day: someone had a stack of business cards in a special holder attached to their car. A way to solicit while parked!

That, Dr. A, is ridiculous. Wow. I hope they were laminated so that if it rained on the person's marketing parade at least it'd bead and not run...
