Fun. Happiness. Enjoy.
This past weekend I got to show some friends--new and old--around the area a little. Marian and two of the girls she met when she went to Greece last year came to stay with me. Natalie (Texas) and Anna (Georgia) hadn't ever been to PA before.
We went to Hershey's Chocolate World. I've been there a grand total of four times now, but watching others enjoy it for the first time was pretty cool. After the little car-track tour we went to the real chocolate world: the rooms filled top to bottom with sweets, apparel, and wares. Anna had to buy the biggest chocolate kiss they had for her boyfriend because she had promised it to him. Natalie seemed pretty thrilled with a one-pound Symphony bar. Marian got to try the Reeses' peanut butter cups with caramel. I got a regular sized special dark bar (for a whopping 55 cents! But I forgot to get it out of Marian's bag before they left my place... Sad face).
Meandering around the ridiculous amount of stuff, I knew we were bound to find something I'd never seen before. Low and behold, we did. Take a look*:

Parallelism?! Fun. Happiness. ENJOY?! How about "Enjoyment" or just plain "Joy"? Or some other noun?
Someone please explain to me how one could have 100% of Enjoy... (I know I'm probably Enjoy deficient or something since I have no clue how to get my daily allowance.)
I really can't think of a good reason for these to be the "Nutrition Facts" on the little personalized wrappers they sell. On any real list of nutrition facts there is parallelism: sodium and saturated fat to vitamin C and carbohydrates...
I freaked enough to have Marian take about nine different shots on her super nice digital camera to try to get a good picture. I had to mess with the contrast in Photoshop in order to get "Enjoy" to show up dark enough.
*(I apologize for the quality of the photo--capturing this with plastic wrap in the way is easier said than done, eh, Mar?)

I snapped a photo on the little tram tour that came out like a Munch painting -- all blurry and twisted, with these looming, scary cartoon eyes the only clear feature.
It would be what a movie would show during a flashback sequence that explains why someone grew up to be a serial killer, so I haven't shown it to my kids.

Oh wow, yeah, good idea. Sometimes digital photography gets scary when the picture is bad. My experience with regular film cameras and bad photos is that they are generally just really bad and not scary. Although once I had a 110 camera that stopped advancing like four shots from the end of the roll and so all the pictures I'd tried to take were superimposed on top of each other... that was rather frightening.
