Get Your Green On... I did.

For the very first time, I was paid to write something for the Internet. Yes, freelancing is how I'm making a living currently, and some of my articles are now up online for all to read.

These are the first articles I wrote since being taken on by the site in August. The section is called "Going Green," which is obviously about what it implies--changing our everyday behaviors to be a little friendlier to the planet we share.

Some of you might be thinking, "Wait--Karissa is a conservative. She's not a tree-hugger or something. How could she write about environmental brouhaha?" Or maybe you don't know I'm conservative and happen to think Al Gore and his global warming banjos are a joke (because I'm still not sure how he deserves the Nobel Peace Prize). Or maybe you didn't use the word "brouhaha."

But one does not have to be a hippie or green zealot to care about the environment a little. I happen to have had a great time writing these articles (which I think you'll see if you take the time to read them). I recycle already and, having had a reason and the chance to, I learned about more ways I could use less and give more.

So browse through the articles. I'll post direct links to the ones I wrote, and you can rifle through the rest to read up on whatever you choose.
