No business like show business
No business is the type they're doing lately. How interesting things have become lately. First a writers' strike, and now a Broadway stagehand strike. I can't help but wonder who's next in line to put up the picket signs. This reminds me of the domino effect that seems to occur with public school teachers' unions (at least in my area)--one goes on strike and the others get bent out of shape over something and get in line for the picket line. If this keeps up, "no business like show business" will really mean no business. Can't say I'm looking forward to it, but it might make life interesting (despite re-runs). [/end union rant]

Karissa, I wouldn't be so hasty to discount all of these unions reasons for striking.
Do you know what their demands are? Are they valid? They could be.
Sure, it's a glitch in people's plans, but maybe there are bigger things at stake than the next episode of Desperate Housewives or another run of Rent.

Typical, ignorant rant from a fascist. I am just surprised you didn't call them "government schools."
