My old man dog
11 years ago today my dog Sherwood was born! He's officially 77 now. I sat with him this morning and stroked his ears just how he's always liked... He leans his head back against me, his dark brown curly cocker spaniel fur smells like the only scent I have ever associated with him...
I know not living at home anymore I might not get to see him in his last days, when they inevitably roll around, so I try to take in the time that I do get to see him. Like this morning. Happy birthday, Sherwood! :)
